Community Involvement

Greg Hendsch, an Oakland native, is a firm believer in supporting and building up the communities in which we live. As a former employee of Habitat for Humanity International, Greg is committed to affordable homeownership for low-income individuals. For this reason, Hendsch Construction supports Habitat for Humanity, East Bay Chapter with financial and materials contributions.

Hendsch Construction also supports Faith Network’s work in Oakland public schools. Faith Network is a collaboration of Christian ministries, community-based organizations, individuals, businesses, educators and civic leaders mobilized to invest their time and other resources to improve the whole health of children and families of the East Bay.¬†Hendsch Construction donates to the valuable work this organization does in Oakland’s public schools, such as Emerson Elementary.

Finally, Hendsch Construction supports it’s own neighborhood school, Redwood Heights Elementary School, by organizing work days and donating time and materials.
