The site is very well researched and extensive in it’s breadth and depth of information. What we like is that it is not pushing a specific product or brand, but rather gives you enough information so that you can make your own informed decisions. The creator is a former engineer with a penchant for home design and remodeling that, after going through his own remodel, decided to put all his research to good use.

HGTV is another good option for ideas. This site is like eye-candy for the remodeler, filled with gorgeous photos of every feature imaginable for all different home styles. So do your hard research on and then go to this site to see pictures of what you like. You can easily navigate by room and find articles about the different products available.

This Old House is another good go-to destination for home remodeling. Plus, we just have a soft spot for this show and magazine having once lived in a beautiful craftsman style home.
